BA Degree in Business & Enterprise
(12 learning days + on-line tutorials and support + work based learning)

In association with Edinburgh Napier University, this innovative and flexible part-time programme enables participants to get a BA degree in only 12 months by topping up their ILM Level 5 qualification or equivalent (see below for eligibility). An induction day will be held in Edinburgh, at the university, thereafter the one learning day per month programme will delivered at the regional venue in Ipswich, Suffolk with additional on-line support. This minimises off the job time. A study commitment of around 12 - 14 hours per week is envisaged (some of which will be work-based) and this can be fitted around a full or part time career. The course modules are:
Innovation, creativity & enterprise (20 credits) Start a new business OR business processes (20 credits) Business growth issues (20 credits) A workplace-based learning project (60 credits)
Rather than traditional exams, assessments will be practical and include reports around work roles, work-place based assignments, presentations and case studies.
You are eligible to join this programme with: ILM Level 5 Certificate or Award, or Senior NCO Armed Forces rank i.e. Chief Petty Officer, Colour Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Flight Sergeant or equivalent, or Qualifications recognised by the UK's qualifications credit framework - VRQ 5, QCF 5, NVQ 4 or equivalent However, other qualifications may be acceptable for entry - please contact me.

Cost

The current fee (set by Edinburgh Napier University) is £4500:

• Payable in instalments
• Can be covered by a student loan (subject to eligibility)
• Armed Forces personnel can use ELCs towards the course fee
